Apparently the relay in the back stopped working and I didn't notice until everything was already unfrozen. So we ate the food that was still good, quickly. The refrigerator wasn't cooling either. But it was simple fix, for a little over a hundred dollars, and our fridge is all better!

K, Jana? Those mud pictures will be a priceless gem in your books. Some day, when they're in high school and they tell you they're bored, you can dig up the pictures and say - Go play in the mud!
That same thing happened to our fridge/freezer a little while ago. Luckily I caught it almost right when it happened so we didn't lose much food. Although it was so soon after that the fridge was still cool so I tricked myself into thinking it was just the freezer. It all worked out fine because Jason was able to fix it for super cheap, which was good because we definitely didn't have money at the time to buy a new one... or pay someone to do it... or buy more food. Life is blessed.
We had all sorts of mud in Albuquerque with our grassless back yard...ahhh...your post made me think of those good times:)
So, when do you plan on coming this way and cleaning out my freezer? The boys look like they've been sliding through the mud... they are definitely ALL boy!
